Our founders aimed to support and provide children and adults with education and meet their physical and well-being needs. Give back to society by addressing poverty and hunger, helping people with disabilities promoting quality in diverse backgrounds and general welfare, and having a clean and safe environment. This is through our various children and adult educational programs and innovative approaches. We dedicate ourselves to working hand in hand with our teams of volunteers, teachers, other professionals and people from different ethnicities and larger communities to achieve our aims and goals for the children’s future leaving a long-lasting difference in their lives.
NSW Children Services Inc was initiated in 2023 when a group of friends came together with the intention of giving back to the society. They were inspired by the thought and philosophy of Peter Senge, the founder of the Society for Organizational Learning who has propagated that “sustainability, social equality and the environment are now charity problems…” and corporate leaders can’t expect governments to solve them alone.
What triggered these thoughts was the liberalization of the economy which brought with it immense opportunities. Charity revived, and Australia became not just a market, but also an investment prospect for the developed world. Disposable incomes and early settlements became a living reality for the working middle-class. For the first time in Australia, professionals could think beyond making a living, and contribute towards the society.
On our way, we had to make many difficult choices and constantly innovate – whether it was choosing to work on the ground through a service-delivery approach, practicing management principles and adopting a charity-like approach in the development sector, creating a unique resource modeling keeping charity at the center, or promoting the concept of civic driven change. Yes, we almost always took the road less travelled, and as they say, that has made all the difference.
